The <a href=\"https:\/\/imbibemagazine.com\/three-ways-bamboo-cocktail\/\">Bamboo<\/a>, created by German bartender Louis Eppinger possibly in the mid-1800s in San Francisco if not a bit later in Japan, consists of &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.liquor.com\/recipes\/bamboo\/\">equal measures of dry vermouth and dry sherry, plus a couple dashes of bitters<\/a>.&#8221; Brooklyn\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barvinazo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bar Vinazo<\/a> has created a new version that adds a bit of Basque flavor. As Mary Anne Porto describes, the <a href=\"https:\/\/punchdrink.com\/articles\/basque-bamboo-fall-cocktail\/\">Basque Bamboo<\/a> adds Basque cider to the mix.
