When his mother died in 2022, Andoni set out to create an album of photos, one for each year of her life, that feature the mundane objects of her life but gives them a new vibrant perspective.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.metalocus.es\/en\/news\/embroidery-feminine-utopia-izaskun-chinchilla\">Embroidery as a Feminine Utopia\u00a0by Izaskun Chinchilla<\/a><br>To help celebrate the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metalocus.es\/en\/news\/castles-air-or-how-build-utopia-today-mugak2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Basque Country International Architecture Biennial, Mugak\/2025<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metalocus.es\/en\/news\/korean-sustainable-tradition-bojagi-lounge-izaskun-chinchilla-architects\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Izaskun Chinchilla Architects<\/a> team has created a textile structure that features embroidery as a way to recognize and honor this traditional art form. The piece also aspires to invite &#8220;invite visitors to reflect on the historical absence of female authors in utopian thought.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/russpain.com\/en\/news-3\/abandoned-fish-farm-in-san-sebastian-to-be-turned-into-seaweed-cultivation-center-309716\/\">Abandoned Fish Farm in San Sebasti\u00e1n to Be Transformed into Seaweed Cultivation Center<\/a><br>A fish farm in Donostia that was abandoned in the 1980s and has since been the haven of graffiti artists is being considered as a site to grow algae by the company <a href=\"https:\/\/algaloop.com\">Algaloop<\/a>. They hope to produce up to 150 tons of algae that has uses in agriculture and medicine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/eyeonsunvalley.com\/Story_Reader\/13274\/Sheep-Stories-Recount-Sheepherders\u2019-Experiences-in-Idaho\/\">Sheep Stories Recount Sheepherders\u2019 Experiences in Idaho<\/a><br>Sheepherding has always been a part of Idaho, with many Basques having made their way to the state as part of the sheep industry. That role has now been filled primarily with Peruvians.
