Agrotourism in the Basque Country
Araba Farm tourism involves farm-owners offering room and board in their farmhouses. Each farmhouse has capacity for an average of 12 people. These farmhouses are open all the year round and all of them have hot running water and central heating. Rural tourism offers an excellent opportunity to get to know the Basque Country's natural resources: about a hundred of highly valued ecological places, hundreds of kilometres of coast, beaches, rivers, and mountain ranges that break the geography into a thousand valleys.
