En otros libros, he encontrado que esta documentada la existencia de este
apellido en Orduña en 1591, en Vitoria en 1892, y en Flandes en el siglo
XVI, hay familias con este apellido en varios lugares de Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa
y Laburdi
En cuanto al significado, es dificil de precisar, hay varias posibilidades
IBARRON-Barron: zona de ribera
BERRON-Barron: Matorral, zarzal
BARAON-Barron: sitio de semillas o de vegetacion
In his "Onomastico y Heraldico Vasco" dictionary, Jaime Kerexeta only has this to say on Barron:
In Laburdi (French-Basque Country). There is another line, originating from Logroño.
In other books, I have found that the existence of this surname is documented in Orduña in 1591, in Vitoria in 1892, and in Flandes in the XVI century; There are families with this surname in various places in Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Laburdi.
On the meaning, it is difficult to be sure; there are a few possibilities:
