BERRIEX Berri means New, and the sufix EX is probably Etxe, so the meaning
can be "The new house", but can also be "The house of Berri", the problem
with this surname is that in basque the adjetive goes after the name, but
in this surname the adjetive goes first, and because of that there exist
the possibilitie that Berri, is in this case the surname of the owner of
the house. Both possibilities are aceptable

There are also families in BEARN, Fr4ance and Argentina
