LACOUAGUE es una de las variaciones del apellido LAKOAGA, otras
variaciones son: Lacoaga, Lacouara,Lacuaga,Lacuara, Lecoague. The older
documentated version is Lecoague, documented in Baiona in 1349, and
Hazparren in 1249. Oyhamburu says in his works that the only LACOUAGUE are
in USA. There are Lacouara families in Laburdi (Anglet and Bardoze)
Meaning: AGA means "place", and LAKOA or LAKUA can be "Lagar" or "Laguna"

There is LACOUAGUE's family in France. We meet the american LACOUAGUE's
family and keep contact.
