MIRANDONA
The name Mirandona is originally of Derio, Vizcaya. And it is a
variation of MIRANDOLA.
MIRANDOLA (MIRANDULA)
Original house in Legazpia, Guipuzcoa.
The names meaning comes from "Miranda" (the name of one or two towns,
one in Spain and one in Italy) with the suffix "ola" (meaning cabin or
the shop of a blacksmith) so it is possible that the original family
house owned such a place or was perhaps near that place.
Coat of Arms is as follows: on a field of gold, a black spread eagle
with a red beak and in it's beak is a white ribbon with the inscription
in Latin, "Si Deus Nobiscum Quis Contra Nos?" (Which means: With God
with us, who against us?)
