VASCO this surname was originated in Navarra (In 1336 there was a man
named Pedro vasco), with a branch in Agurain-Salvatierra in Araba (Martin
de Vasco, XV century).
Some authors think that the pronunciation was UASCO, there is very few
information about this surname.
Coat of arms: En sinople dos ondas de azur puestas en punta, fileteadas de
plata. (In a green field two blue waves with silver borders, (the wings are
located in the down part of the coat).
There is a lathin surname (lingustically), that means basque, I think that
was probably a nickname given to a man who spoke the basque language, and
lived in any part of the south basque country, where the basque language
was not spoken
