Lee Azpiroz sent a photo of his tattoo, a collage of Basque icons. He writes:
“Started with the lauburu. Then added the euskadi map, ikurrina background, and the bull to balance the whole thing out.
“PS: Need to add “Azpiroz” as a sur name.”

Well… the bull is not that much of a basque symbol. In fact it’s a symbol adopted by spaniards to boost their sports selections. It used to be the symbol of very well known brandy but actually represents… well… you know… it’s kind of a male showoff!
So, nothing to do with basque culture or tradition.
Be careful, I wouldn’t go around the Basque Country showing that tattoo, the bull is a big no-no over there, so you could get in trouble
Yeah i was confused by the bull as well. It’s considered to be a very Spanish Symbol. I’m not sure if that’s what you wanted to convey…the rest looks nice though!
Dude, your tattoo is missing Nafarroa…get it done before anyone else notices!
