I’m thrilled you have this site. My paternal grandparents were Basque;my grandfather left from LaHavre and crossed 17 times. he married my Grandmother and the last crossing they landed in San Francisco. She worked in the Larramendy laundry in the city; which at that time was the French Colony . They moved to Ely,Nevada ;my grandfather was in the coal mines and my Grandmother worked in the Laxalt Laundry. Our history is so diverse and beautiful;proud to be Basque and have found this site to- just fill I. So many gaps in my knowledge.Grateful to find you! Doreen Danzart-Villa
